Watercolour Portrait Diptych

FACE MATCH FIRST: the exact man in the attached photo - same hairline, hair length and texture, brows, eye shape and spacing, nose, lips, jaw, cheeks, beard and moustache in their exact shape and density (or clean-shaven if he is), skin tone. Never beautify or slim the face.

STYLE: a photoreal portrait set into an exploding watercolour ground - bright ink blooms and splatter radiating outward on cream paper, the colour dissolving to bare paper at the edges. The same person appears twice: a large close-up filling the upper field, and a small full-length figure seated low in the frame.
