Minimalist Cafe Sketch Scene

Seen from above, this minimalistic scene captures a cafe table with a simple brush-sketch of a man on a white napkin. The warm daylight accentuates the artistry of the sketch and the inviting atmosphere of a quiet moment with a cup of coffee.

prompt

Create one vertical 3:4 image: a photograph taken from directly above a cafe table, where a white paper napkin carries a quick brush sketch of the man in the attached photo in a few confident strokes of red ink.

The sketch is minimal, perhaps twenty strokes, but the face is unmistakably his: the brush catches the exact line of his brow, the shape and spacing of his eyes, the nose, the lips, the jaw and his hair as the attached photo shows them, so he is recognisable at a glance, never a generic sketched man. The sketch shows him chest-up with his chin resting on one hand, head tilted a little, eyes looking out at the viewer, a faint smile in the line of the mouth. One stroke suggests the collar of a shirt; the rest of the napkin is bare.

Around the napkin the real table shows: a small white cup of coffee half drunk, a fine red brush pen lying across the napkin's corner, a wooden table grain, and the edge of a saucer. The ink has feathered slightly into the napkin's paper, and a single drip sits near the bottom corner.

Soft daylight from a window at the left lights the table evenly, with a soft shadow under the cup. No text, logo or watermark anywhere; the napkin and cup are plain.

About this look

The composition is a study in minimalism, featuring a stark white napkin with a striking red ink sketch of a man's face. The careful strokes create his likeness effectively, while the table's wooden texture and coffee cup complement the artwork without distracting from it. Soft daylight enters from a nearby window, creating a soft shadow under the cup and enhancing the scene's serene quality.

How to use this prompt

To achieve this effect, provide a clear photograph of the man whose likeness will be sketched, ensuring it shows his facial features clearly for accurate replication. The photograph should be referenced to create the sketch, while the scene is arranged to include the napkin and coffee cup on a wooden table. Adjust the ink color or stroke style if textures are not as desired.
