Scrapbook Self-Portrait Series

Create one vertical 9:16 image: a designed scrapbook page on pale grey card, with a loose blush-pink watercolour wash down the left half and three pressed yellow wildflowers flattened along the bottom edge. The woman in the attached photo appears four times, all the same person, wearing a pale yellow cotton sundress with thin straps and a thin gold chain, hair loose with a centre parting and a tortoiseshell claw clip at the back. Depiction 1 is the hero and the keeper: a tall print standing on the right two thirds of the card, waist-up, taken by a phone on a timer in a bright bedroom corner with a white curtain behind her. Her head is turned three-quarter toward the viewer's right and her eyes come back into the lens, a soft smile just starting, one hand resting on the back of a chair. Daylight from the curtain side lights her whole face and the dress together. Depictions 2, 3 and 4 are the three tries that came before it, smaller instant prints stacked down the left edge, their borders slightly overlapping each other but never a face. Try 2: she is looking down at the phone screen in her hand to check the shot. Try 3: head tilted back, eyes up and away from the camera, caught laughing. Try 4: she has turned to the mirror beside the curtain to fix the clip, face seen three-quarter and readable. Each try is a little softer than the keeper. A small pencil tick sits in the grey margin above the hero print. No wash, flower or print edge crosses a face, and the hero is the largest and sharpest. No text, logo or watermark anywhere.
